If we cannot obtain the records for your property from any available source, you do not pay. We refund your fee in full.
We could not locate any record for the property identifiers you supplied, after checking the relevant government portal and, where applicable, following up at the office that holds the paper record.
The record exists but has been destroyed, lost, or was never properly recorded, so nothing can be produced.
We are unable to deliver within the timeframe we stated to you before payment, and you would prefer a refund to waiting.
You cancel before we have begun retrieval for your case.
We retrieved and delivered the record. The service is the retrieval and presentation of what the government register holds. If the record is delivered, the service has been performed, even where its contents are not what you hoped for.
The identifiers you supplied were incorrect and returned a different property's record. Tell us and we will re-run the search once at no extra charge; a wrong village or plot number is the most common cause.
You changed your mind after delivery.
Refunds are initiated within 7 working days of us confirming that the records cannot be obtained. Once initiated, your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5 to 7 working days to credit the amount; that final step is outside our control.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. We do not make cash refunds.
Where an advocate has begun work on a report, the advocate's fee for work already done is not refundable. Any portion of the fee relating to work not yet started will be refunded.
Write to connectniwas@gmail.com with your case number. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and tell you what happens next.
